This SMS and MMS Usage Policy describes how MLH Software LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”) uses text messaging in connection with our App and related services. This policy is designed to comply with Twilio’s Toll-Free Message Verification requirements, the Twilio Messaging Policy (SMS, MMS, Conversations, and Third-Party Messaging Platforms), the Twilio Acceptable Use Policy, and applicable U.S. and Canadian carrier rules.
1. Purpose of Messaging
MLH Software LLC uses SMS and MMS messaging for our App to support the following permitted use cases:
- Account verification (one-time passcodes)
- Login authentication
- Password reset notifications
- User account alerts and security notices
- Reminders or notifications triggered by the user inside the App
- Optional notifications for shared content, lists, or tasks
- Service-related announcements such as feature updates or downtime notices
- Customer-requested support communications
We do not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages without explicit opt-in.
2. User Opt-In
Users must provide a valid mobile number and explicitly consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from MLH Software LLC during account creation or within App notification settings.
Opt-in occurs when a user:
- Enters and verifies their phone number in the App
- Requests verification codes
- Enables optional SMS/MMS notifications inside the App
We do not use purchased or third-party messaging lists.
3. User Opt-Out
Users may opt out of receiving SMS/MMS notifications at any time by replying:
- STOP
After opting out, users will receive a confirmation that messaging has been disabled and will no longer receive SMS/MMS messages.
To resume receiving messages, users may reply:
- START
Users may also re-enable notifications within the App settings.

5. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on user activity and notification settings. Typical examples include:

- User-triggered reminders and alerts
- Optional shared content or task updates
- Occasional service notifications
MLH Software LLC does not send unsolicited or excessive messaging traffic.
6. Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on the user's mobile plan. Users are responsible for any charges from their carrier.
7. Content Restrictions
MLH Software LLC forbids the use of messaging channels for any prohibited content under Twilio or carrier rules, including:
- Spam or unsolicited messages
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful content
- Harassment, abuse, or threats
- Hate speech or discriminatory content
- Illegal goods or activities
- Controlled substances, firearms, or adult content
- SHAFT content (sex, hate, alcohol, firearms, tobacco)
- Affiliate marketing, lead-generation messaging, or mass marketing
- High-risk financial or loan/debt-relief content
Messages must directly support App functionality and relate to user activity.
8. Data Usage & Privacy
We store and process mobile numbers solely to support App features and communication. We do not sell or share phone numbers for marketing.

- Applicable U.S. and Canadian regulations
- Twilio’s Messaging Policy and Acceptable Use Policy
9. Security of Messaging
We use secure systems to send and receive messages, but users should be aware that SMS is not fully encrypted. Sensitive information should not be sent via SMS.
10. Age Restrictions
The App and related SMS/MMS communication are intended for users age 13 or older.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revised effective date.
